That Ain't Champagne, It's Piss

During times such as we're living in, it's imperative to use our powers of discernment and discretion. The Seven Of Cups tarot card (confusion, overly excited, drugged, dark influences disguised as harmless fluff, and the like) came to mind this morning. It took me a minute to figure out why this appeared in my psyche, and then it struck me... This is the eve of the Libra Full Moon. Libra is ruled by the planet Venus, and the Moon rules our subconscious emotions. So, we have a double hitter in balancing our emotions through healing the deep-rooted issues we've yet to resolve. One of those issues for me is getting high off someone else's ideas that never go anywhere. Here's a hint: Libra represents balancing the scales. Think of the times in your life when your emotions took over your thoughts and the results. We have to allow our emotions to rule our hearts and our thoughts to rule our heads; not mix the two. Live a life through balanced actions.   I'm not alo...

Is Your Karma Sweet Or Bitter?

Namaste, Y'all,  There's been one repetitive thought on my mind the past couple of weeks, and that's karma is being ramped up on behalf of the innocent. On a global scale, this is playing out in the realm of politics and religion. In the local arena, people I'm familiar with are going through their personal growth experiences that's causing them to view life with new eyes. And personally, my dreams and readings are relaying the intense ego deaths of those who projected their negativity towards me these past two years. It's true that what we cause another to experience will be returned in kind. The clincher is that if you're in a strong partnership with Spirit regarding your North Node (life purpose), the blowback is the strongest. Let this be a lesson why you should never assume anything about anyone simply because they don't match your ideals and looks.   Believing that you're above the cosmic laws is ludicrous; not one of us is exempt. To live sole...

Let The Healing Begin

With the current cosmic and global climates, it's no wonder many of us are on edge. From the profound changes and shifts in key critical landscapes in world politics (US in particular), religion, and the ever-increasing climate, our collective consciousness is taking a beating. Talk about a path of uncertainty! Maintaining one's faith and trying to remain grounded is the new normal, as life is steadily falling apart around us. The level of greed and corruption being exposed is far more vast and deep than we could have imagined, but we press on, hoping for the signs of intervention to come and set us on a path to recovery. But is recovery what's needed? Have we simply hit rock bottom?  One would think that, from the scale of disarray and destruction, the answer would be, yes. I see us reaching the finish line. As the masses are waking from their unconscious states of oppression and toxic conditioning, there's a crabs in the bucket mentality in play at the moment. We...

Have You Learned The Lesson Yet?

With the planet of communications, Mercury, being in retrograde again, we're faced with the ago old question: Have you learned the lesson yet? I've come to realize the positive power of the yearly and quarterly visits that Mercury affords me. It's a time to reflect on unfinished business in our relationships, be they platonic or intimate, and allows for reviewing the areas that need to improve or cut the partnership off entirely because it's lost its original purpose. How many of us move through life oblivious to the cast of characters we interact with? We assume all is well with you both, when actually, things aren't. Hey, if no one's complaining, then things must be alright. Right? Wrong. I'll share some personal insights with you below that I use to work with this energy.  The retrogrades (retro, to go back) afford us prime opportunities to take time to reevaluate our unions, check in with them, and make necessary adjustments or difficult choices regardi...

Hind Sight, It's A Thing

It's said that hindsight is 20-20, and I'll be damned if it's been providing a great deal of change in my childhood perspective lately. So I will share a couple of them with you. The first involves abandonment issues from childhood. For years, I was under the impression and assumption that I was seriously wounded by my father abandoning us, when it was far from the truth. Because I was so young and a strong empath, I couldn't decipher my emotions from my moms. She was the one feeling abandoned, not me. I felt relief. When he was around, it was not a positive environment for any of us. Being the oldest of four kids, hypersensitive, and unable to articulate what I was experiencing made my formative years challenging is definitely an understatement. And I'm not bitter about it because it helped me to exercise compassion for those in similar settings. Unbiased listening is a skill set necessary in light work, along with establishing healthy boundaries.  Don't get m...

All Hands On Deck

Namaste, Y'all,   I'm sure many of you are familiar with the saying, what you resist persist, and no words ring truer than these during the present. Change is an essential component of life, for without it, we cannot evolve, and therefore become a better version of our former selves. Without change, our growth, and survival are stunted, rendering us unable to grasp new concepts and to create a better life experience. And yet, there are many who fight tooth and nail to remain in toxic spaces and uncomfortable systems out of fear of it. But change is the only constant security we can count on (paraphrasing Buddha). Life is not designed to be static, and grounded in beliefs designed to control our fate, when our fate and destiny is to evolve our consciousness, thereby expanding our human experience.    We are spirits (infinite beings from Source) having human experiences, not the other way around. One of the privileges of being on this earthly plane, is to exercise our free ...

Creating A Healthy New World Order

Namaste, Y’all,   Some of you may be familiar with the 1987 song by R.E.M, It's The End Of The World As We Know It (and I Feel Fine), and I'll be damned, if those lyrics aren't relevant for today, I don't know what is. With the Age of Aquarius starting to really settle in, we are reminded of its ruling planet, Uranus (sudden change, rebellion, innovation, freedom, originality, and humanitarian ideals). Are we not witnessing and experiencing this on a micro and macro level? The shocking events that have been taking place are a reminder to be aware and to prepare for a future that will serve humanity and the planet Earth.    We're being provided key opportunities to release antiquated systems and limited perceptions about our lives. The patriarchal rule of capitalism, competition, and marginalizing one another is coming to a close, and we must heal this blight in our history. The cycle of accepting comfort in situations and beliefs that are obviously uncomfortable mu...
